Holiday Tea Party was lovely!

The holidays have come and gone, and our Holiday Tea Part is becoming a memory but my did we have fun!

That Sunday was a beautiful sunny day, perfect for hosting our outdoor event. We had such a lovely time drinking fabulous belly warming elixirs from the Yoko Tea boys and everyone loved their cozy tea lounge and creative bamboo awning welcoming the public to our gathering.

Nancy Oster brought her loom to the party and knited her soft alpaca scarves right on the spot with Mollycules nearby sharing her delightful collection of books with attendees.

I had a great time selling massage gift certificates and Rivendale Aromatics essentail oils and body care products as well as raffle tickets with the grand prize of a tandem massage- Congratulations Joanne!

We raised over $200 for the Organic Soup Kitchen from the raffle tickets! People loved the massage samplers Nicky and Aimee provided as well as the delicious sweet treats Nicky handmade for us.

One of the highlights of the day for me was chanting with Lisa Beck– how fun to use our voices in such a fluid way; but my favorite part was QiGong led by Nicky. Every single person at the event joined in and as we reached down to the earth and up towards the sky, seeing everyone’s arms raised up, feeling everyone’s hearts open and joyful- it was a special moment indeed. So much gratitude to all those who came out to share in the holiday spirit with us.
