Date Ladoos – Sweet treat

3 tablespoons ghee
1 teaspoon cinnamon
15 Medjool dates, pitted and chopped coarsely
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup coarsely chopped pistachios or cashews
1 teaspoon cardamon powder
1 cup dry shredded unsweetened coconut
Preparation…don’t forget the love
Heat the Ghee in a large skillet. Add the cinnamon and cook for about 30 seconds.
Now add the chopped dates, raisins, and nuts, and cook on medium-low heat for about 8 minutes. As this mixture cooks, it is important to use a potato masher to mash the date and raisins together. Now add the cardamon and mix well. Allow the mixture to cool. Pour the coconut in a mixing bowl. Take about 2 tablespoons of the date mix and roll into a ball. Then roll the ball in the shredded coconut. Do this with the rest of the mix and roll them in coconut.
You can store these in an air-tight container for a week or so.
